Throughout time both the shores of the
Hawaiian Islands and the waters along the Eastern Seaboard of the
United States have been home to the Honu (pronounced hoe-new) or sea
turtle. Owners David Tunney, brother of restaurateur John J. Tunney
lll, and John Rieger, offer a cuisine representative of the two
cultures under the vibrant umbrella of Blue Honu.
In legends, the sea turtle often represented creation, longevity and wisdom.
